The neck tenon will be reinforced with a thin overlay of cross-grained wood glued to both tenon cheeks. We will slot the neckblank for the two overlays on the table saw, measuring carefully to insure that the finished tenon (including the overlays) is 3/4-inches wide--or on a smaller guitar, 5/8-inches wide.
